Dynamic packaging
A tour package is defined by its constituent services and the temporal order of services in the package. No fixed travel dates need to be set manually. By analyzing individual travel services, Lizzy automatically composes the list of possible travel dates and durations.
Dynamic pricing
Tour package does not have a fixed sales price. Package sales price is defined as the sum of the purchase prices of the packaged services, adjusted by markups on the service and package levels. Markup-driven sales prices enable to support yield management. When purchase prices and markups have been defined Lizzy calculates the expected revenue values and report them to package administrators and sales staff.
Flexibility
The number of services in a package is unlimited. Each constituent service may have differently priced alternative services (for example, different room types or cabin classes). The choice between alternative services is made at sales time. Furthermore, start dates and durations of constituent services can be changed in the sales process (to offer an extra night at the destination, for example) and extra services can be sold on top of the package.
